Your Frequently Asked Questions . . .

Answered

What is the difference between

the MicrobeCare solution

and other antimicrobials on the

market?

Most commercial antimicrobials are designed to act quickly and dissipate

quickly to avoid adverse effects to humans and animals due to their toxic

ingredients.

Our coating takes a totally different approach. Like conventional

antimicrobials it provides an effective initial microbial kill when it is applied,

but unlike the others, it also provides long-term control of growth on treated

surfaces by creating a modified surface to make them antimicrobial.

What’s missing with traditional

disinfection methods?

There’s no residual protection with traditional disinfection. Once it works it quickly

dissipates off the surface. The area is then immediately open to re-

contamination. The result of the disinfection operation is limited to the

microorganisms present at the time of the application. Disinfection does not prevent

subsequent re-contamination, which is why it must be renewed regularly in sensitive

areas.

Human error in application. Very rarely are dwell times followed. Think about

it…you normally see people spray and immediately wipe. Most disinfectants need 2-

10 min to work. Also, people tend to miss very important areas when applying them.

The underside of an armchair or back of a doorknob.

With traditional disinfection, resistances can be formed which lead to superbugs.

High labor cost when done properly and frequently.

Will this technology adversely affect

the skin or environment?

How durable is MicrobeCare?

Does MicrobeCare maintain its efficacy

and stability in humid and in hot climates?

Due to the patented technology that makes MicrobeCare unique, the formula is able

to become a permanent part of your product surface, so it will not wear or wash off.

Since the cured antimicrobial is nonvolatile, insoluble, and non-leaching, the

treatment should last for the life of the treated surface. The life of a treated surface

depends on a number of factors, not the least of which is surface preparation. If you

treat a dirty or unstable surface, when the dirt comes off or the surface is disturbed,

some of the antimicrobial will be removed with it. Abrasive or caustic (pH>10.5)

cleaners will also shorten effective life.

No. Since the antimicrobial is permanently bound to the surface, it does not leach to

the skin or into the environment. Extensive toxicological testing shows the

antimicrobial does not cross the skin barrier.

Yes, there is no lessening of the pathogenic activity of the MicrobeCare-treated surfaces with increasing temperatures.
Is there a test method to determine if the MicrobeCare polymer is present?

Will its use result in 'super bacteria'?

What kinds of products use the

MicrobeCare technology?

Is MicrobeCare safe for the environment?

Are there any safety concerns after

application is complete?

Is MicrobeCare safe for humans?

Will regular cleaning of a MicrobeCare

treated surface reduce its effectiveness?

Do I still need to use disinfectant after

MicrobeCare application?

No, MicrobeCare has been shown to preserve its 99.99% effectiveness after 12 years of accelerated testing (1200 cleaning cycles with hospital disinfectant)
It is environmentally friendly. It is made from raw organic compounds. MicrobeCare does not leach (i.e., seep off its host), so there is no harm to drains or waterways if MicrobeCare enters the system. In fact, MicrobeCare helps with the water treatment process by killing molds, funguses, algae and pathogens it comes in contact with.
In what sizes/volume does Microbecare come in?
Consumer safety is our top concern. All of our products are guaranteed non-toxic and have obtained United States EPA approval. Risk assessments by independent scientific bodies constantly reconfirm the safety of our antimicrobial additives.

The unique properties permit near permanent bonding to any surface to which it is

applied. Furthermore, this product will not give off any gases, leach onto other

surfaces, or lose its strength over time. As long as the surface is kept clean with

normal cleaning procedures, the surface will continue to fight any microbial growth.

No. Your treated surface will not need any disinfectant for 1 year or 365 days.

However, you still need to do your routine cleaning like wiping, cleaning with regular detergent. Using detergents on treated surface does not remove or diminish the MicrobeCare treatment.
Do I need to hire professionals to apply MicrobeCare?
MicrobeCare comes in the following sizes/volume:
Microbecare is very easy to apply. It is a ready-to-use product. No dilution is required. By following the simple instructions and protocols, MicrobeCare can be easily and successfully applied. However, for large and delicate surfaces and materials, some users choose to hire professionals.
MicrobeCare protects a large number and variety of products including but not limited to building materials, furniture, medical devices and textiles. MicrobeCare can be used on both porous and non-porous surfaces and materials.
Can we use MicrobeCare for the offices and homes?
Definitely. Any place or surface that can benefit from the long-term disinfection that MicrobeCare provides can use MicrobeCare.
How can we order MicrobeCare?
Please call us at or email us microbecare@trezor.asia so we could discuss in detail your specific needs and requirements. We will then submit a quotation based on our discussions.

Yes, the MicrobeCare solution is based on an active ingredient that, in most cases,

can be easily detected. A simple ATP method of detection is available to check for

the presence or absence of the treatment.

No. Adaptation studies show that microbes do not adapt to MicrobeCare and no 'Zone of Inhibition' develops. The kill method prevents microbes from mutating and adapting inhibiting the ability for superbugs to grow. There is no possibility of micro-organism building up an immunity (i.e., no super-bugs).
